Sausage Gravy

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage

  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour

  • 4 cups milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  • Break up the sausage and cook in a large skillet until no longer pink

  • Add flour a little at a time so that the sausage soaks it up stirring constantly

  • Add milk and continue stirring constantly

  • Continue cooking until desired thickness
